Major warnings cover cardiovascular risk before prescribing to sexually active men with cardiac disease, risk of prolonged erection/priapism requiring prompt medical attention, sudden decrease or loss of vision (NAION) or hearing, and additive blood-pressure-lowering effects with alpha-blockers, other antihypertensives, and alcohol.

Tadalafil tablets are indicated for: - "Erectile dysfunction (ED)" - "The signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)" - "ED and the signs and symptoms of BPH (ED/BPH)" When used with finasteride for BPH, treatment for up to 26 weeks has been studied.
