The label also warns of the class-wide risk that "antiepileptic drugs, including LYRICA, increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior"; dizziness and somnolence that can impair the ability to drive or operate machinery; and that pregabalin is a Schedule V controlled substance with potential for misuse and dependence. Abrupt or rapid discontinuation can precipitate withdrawal symptoms, including seizures in epilepsy patients.
