Pediatrics: Indicated for acute otitis media, community-acquired pneumonia, and pharyngitis/tonsillitis (age-dependent). Limitation: "Should not be used in patients with pneumonia who are judged to be inappropriate for oral therapy because of moderate to severe illness or risk factors." ---
