Some of these events may result in serious injuries, including death." | CNS depressant effects with next-day impairment risks; severe anaphylactic/anaphylactoid reactions possible; abnormal thinking and behavioral changes reported; respiratory depression risk, particularly with opioid use; withdrawal symptoms with rapid discontinuation; hepatic encephalopathy risk in severe liver disease.

Zolpidem tartrate tablets are indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia characterized by difficulties with sleep initiation.
